Etta Britt, a Nashville-based R&B singer and songwriter, performs across the country and around the world. Her most recent CD, “Etta Does Delbert,” slated for a fall 2014 release, is a collection of Etta’s takes on a variety of Delbert McClinton songs. The disc also includes a duet with Delbert. Her critically acclaimed 2011 release “Into the Shadows” earned her an appearance on “The Today Show” and opening slots for both Delbert McClinton and Paul Thorn. Early in her career Etta – then known as was part of “Dave & Sugar,” a band that received nominations for CMA vocal group of the year five years in a row. She has also provided backing vocals on records by artists ranging from Marty Stuart to Englebert Humperdinck. Etta’s husband Bob Britt, who always performs with her, is a top guitar player. Bob tours and records with Delbert McClinton and has toured and recorded with artists including Bob Dylan, John Fogerty, John Oates, The Judds, Leon Russell, and many more.
